Southern Division Toastmasters is hosting a first time, one-night-only evening on the Gold Coast with International Motivational and Accredited Speaker Sheryl Roush who will share insights of her 35 years of diverse expertise and experience on "Speaking with Passion, Purpose & Profit".Sheryl Roush, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), Accredited Speaker (AS), Past District Govenor (PDG), has been an active Toastmaster since 1987 and Professional Speaker with National Speakers Association since 1996. Sheryl has presented more than 3,500 keynotes and seminars. She works with organisations to increase workplace motivation, increase employee engagement, and foster team spirit. Further she provides personalised coaching programs for speakers with Speak And Market Like A Pro!™.She is an 8-time business owner and 17-time published author, and twice-crowned “Ms. Heart of San Diego” for contributions to battered and homeless women and children in her community. For enhancing global communication and leadership, Toastmasters International honored Sheryl with their 2009 Presidential Citation, selected from over 260,000 members. In 1993, Sheryl was the sixth woman (and the youngest) in the world to be honored by Toastmasters with their elite Accredited Speaker designation for “outstanding platform professional speaking” (scored in six categories). Only 75 have earned the award in 142 countries. No one has yet to achieve the Accredited Speaker designation in Australia. With over 3,500 presentations of experience, Sheryl has presented throughout Canada and the U.S., as well as Australia, the Bahamas, England, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico City, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and has addressed seven Middle Eastern nations in Doha, Qatar. Sheryl understands the importance of showing respect to diverse and multi-cultural audiences. If the event is rescheduled, Local Tickets Pty Ltd reserves the right to decide whether Ticket Holders will automatically be refunded, or whether tickets will be transferred to another date with a refund option.
